Metropolitan Museum
I designed two limited-edition rugs in conjunction with the Metropolitan Museum’s “Court and Cosmos: The Great Age of the Seljuks” exhibition.
This is the first time that the Met Store has commissioned rugs based on objects from their collections. Inspired by a 10th Century Seljuk Turk vase and an earthenware bowl, I created a hand-knotted New Zealand wool and silk rug, and a wool flatweave.
